Alric Rahl

Alric Rahl was one of the earliest known members of the House of Rahl, and a War Wizard, having lived during the times of the Great War. He served as Lord Rahl at that time and created the bond that all the people of D'Hara shared, protecting them from dream walkers. When he announced the bond to the other wizards they all believed that he just wanted power and refused to listen and be bonded. He also created the Gars to fight the threat of the Mriswith.
