Kieran was once a Seeker of Truth. According to the stories, Kieran completed his quest and died alongside his confessor Viviane in their quest to slay his nemesis a man named Count Alrawn. The truth, however, is much more unfortunate. Kieran and Viviane fell in love and Kieran became confessed. Being confessed, Kieran was distracted from his quest. Viviane, in order to set things right, committed suicide. This did not have the desired effect. Kieran went mad out of grief and killed several innocent people. His wizard, Amfortas, ended Kieran's madness by killing him, and created a lie to protect the Seeker legacy and hide the unfortunate truth. Kieran's soul was also bound to his bones to keep it from moving on to the Underworld.
