Imperial Order

The Imperial Order is the empire ruled by Emperor Jagang and founded through the Fellowship of Order, by Brother Narev.

The Order teaches that mankind is evil and full of selfish desires. Emperor Jagang managed to bring his ideals to the entirety of the Old World and brought the separate kingdoms under his controlled rule.

Jagang and Brother Narev claim to work in the name of the Creator. They allow their troops to murder, rape and steal from innocent people, saying that it is the duty of all to bend to the will of others in need. Anyone who spoke out against these thoughts were quickly put to death, being accused of treason against The Creator.

The Imperial Order despises magic and those who are gifted with it. They seek to end magic itself, although Jagang himself is a Dream walker and possesses magic. However the Order has no problems in using magic to further its ends. Jagang uses his talents to enslave the minds of many gifted individuals and uses them against their will to wreak havoc on innocent life.

The D'Haran Empire opposes Jagang's twisted and hypocritical views and their leaders in this are Richard Rahl, Lord Rahl of D'Hara and the Mother Confessor of all the Midlands, Kahlan Amnell. They fight for the freedom of mankind and have gathered a large number of powerfully gifted people, with similar views, to their side.
