The Nareef Valley was located in the Midlands, below the poison-collecting highland headwaters of the Dammar River. A boggy lake where the Paka plants thrived and neutralized the poison was discovered just above the Nareef Valley.
The warfer birds dwelt at the top of the glen.
The warfer birds ate the larvae of the butterfly that eats specifically the paka plants.
