Narev

Narev was the high priest of the Fellowship of Order who brought Jagang, and many others, to see the Order's ways as good. He was the spiritual leader of the Order.

Like all Brothers of the Fellowship of Order, Narev wore long, heavy dark brown robes. However, as the high priest of the Brothers, Narev alone was entitled to wear a wrinkled cap upon his head.
From underneath his cap, grey hair creeped out. Narev's face was heavily creased and his hooded eyes were as dark as his robes. Narev's body, beneath his heavy robes, was thin and angeled. Narev was an extremely rare gifted individual known as a sorcerer which is comparable to that of a wizard. A sorcerer's magic was unable to touch a wizard's, just as a wizard's was unable to touch a sorcerer's. To each other a sorcerer and a wizard would seem to be ungifted and would not notice each others gift. Even in the book The Faith of the Fallen, Brother Narev visits Richard while he is captured by Nicci and taken to Altu'Rang, and while he is at the blacksmith's shop working, he conducts a full conversation with him and does not notice that the Lord Rahl, and Seeker, Richard Rahl is standing defenseless not but two feet away and is at the mercy of his control.
