Siddin appears in the following books in the Sword of Truth series: Wizard's First Rule and Stone of Tears.

He is attacked by spirits after taking Richard's Night Stone without permission. He is saved by Richard and Kahlan. During a Gathering called by Richard he is kidnapped by Darken Rahl when he attacks the village on Scarlet. Siddin is rescued by Richard and Kahlan in Tamarang.

He returns to his village with Richard and Kahlan by riding Scarlet with them, where he enjoys the sensation of flying.
