This unknown man was the Sovereign of Anderith preceding Bertrand Chanboor.
An old man, who had outlived four wives, the Sovereign was worshiped as the Creators deputy in the world of life and as the leader of Anderith. The Sovereign later takes another wife, with a girl who had yet to see the end of her teens.
The Sovereign had fathered three sons and two daughters, all fully grown. He also had several grandchildren, who were known to run a foul and cause havoc, though no one dared to do anything about it. Some of the Sovereign's grandchildren were considerably older than their latest step grandmother.
The Sovereign would eventually die at the hands of Dalton Campbell, who was eager to have him pass on his title to Bertrand Chanboor.
