I wanted to thank you for your work on the wiki! I've had a rough time lately, so my work here has been nil. I hope to see you around for a while no matter what! Thanks again! Eric42 23:51, 3 July 2006 (UTC)
Missing overall files Edit
I have just noticed that Khalan Amnell's overall profile in sot.wikia.com was completely erased except for the introduction. I would like to know why it has been erased but I am quite sure that it is not your fault. One of the contributors must have erased it and it exasperates me. Deathcrest 8:10 AM. Drop "The" Edit
Hey, wanted to ask if you could drop "The" from articles that you link too. For instance, The Old World. Instead, it should be Old World. I noticed that you created Category:The Old World and the new world version too. I'm going to move them to and likewise with new world. Could I get your help updating the pages that links to them? Thanks, and please keep up the work you've been doing on the site! :) Eric42 21:10, 8 July 2006 (UTC)
Thank you! Edit
I have to apologize for being absent from the wiki over the past seven or eight months. During that time, however, you have held down the fort and kept the place going, so for that I thank you. I'm back for now and I hope to be working along side you to get us above 300 articles within the next few days. Eric42 16:48, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
Number of edits Edit
You are getting close to nearly a thousand edits! As of last nights count, you were sitting at 725 edits total. I'm only two hundred under you, but I'm catching up! Just thought you'd like to know that. ;) Keep up the good work! Eric42 00:52, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
Missing in Action?Edit
I have noticed that you are missing in action! I am just checking to see if you are still checking the page and if you'll continue to edit. Thanks for the hard work you've put into this wiki for the past... year or so. Eric42 13:57, 9 July 2007 (UTC)
Change of addressEdit
Hi Mark. I'm Wendy, a helper with wikia. I wanted to ask you and the other admins on this site if you would consider changing the web address from "sot.wikia.com" to "swordoftruth.wikia.com" (ok, so the wikia folks would technically change it if you guys don't mind). The idea is that it would help search engines like google find the wiki, and in turn help people find the wiki. Let me know what you think on my talk page! -- Wendy (talk) 04:04, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for notifying me about "The Beast". I noticed it was on a 'wanted' articles page, so I started writing on the topic, wondering why one wasn't already here. If there's anything else I need to do differently, let me know. :) I don't mind constructive criticism. People are stupid. They will believe anything either because they wish it to be true or they fear it may be true. 02:22, 11 November 2008 (UTC)Alayla
Disclaim the Canonicity of tv Articles?Edit
Hi, I’m so sorry I keep getting character’s names wrong. I really don’t know what I was thinking when I did Zedd wrong, but the reason I got several names in Listener wrong was because my closed captioning didn’t work for me to check the spelling. I’m sure it was annoying to you to have to fix it, but thank for doing so!
Anyway, you seem to be an admin (and if I’m wrong, can you point me to someone who is?) so maybe you can answer this. If I was to make an article about a character or thing that occurs only in the TV series and not in the books, is there any kind of a warning, or disclaimer, or tag that I could put in the header of such an article to denote that it’s cannon only in the TV series? Similarly, is there also such a header I could put in articles which occur in real-life as opposed to the in-universe articles? Like article about the actors who play in the show, or Terry Goodkind? I ask because Tardis Wiki, which I’ve also worked with, does this. For an example of what I’m talking about, here: http://tardis.wikia.com/wiki/David_Tennant I'm just wondering if there is such a tag, or if someon can make one.
Thanks! LostRaccoon 02:14, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
Hi, it´s me, formerly known as user 184.108.40.206! Thanks for the welcome, it's really nice that someone notices a contribution! Also, thanks for the offer of help, though for the moment I can't think of anything I'd need. I've some little experience editing Wikipedia, so I know how a Wiki works in general. I'll watch out for articles I could upgrade - they won't be that many yet, since I've only read the first book so far. (On my way chewing through the second.)
Anyway, thanks again

My name is Raven. I am also a huge fan of the books and possess one of the original copies of Wizard's First Rule. I know this because on the inside cover, it lists the second 'upcoming' book as being titled "Wizard's Second Rule". I own and have read all the books, even 'Debt of Bones' and I run a Sword of Truth fan guild on the online community Gaia Online. I have been using this site ever since I found it as a reference, but I have finally now decided to be a contributor as well. I will help whenever I can, editting or adding where needed. Any questions feel free to message me or e-mail me @ firstname.lastname@example.org
Thanks for greeting me Edit
Thanks for greeting me, Markrox. It's kind of nice to have an admin who notices contributions, as I think someone already said. Again, like said person, I believe it's the same person anyways, I have nothing to ask and only wanted to say thanks. Ragter 22:33, November 12, 2009 (UTC)
how do I add to the main page? Edit
How do registered users make additions to the main page? I went to make an addition to "News" and the editing view has been changed "due to complex code". The history shows you as the last person to edit the main page, so I am assuming you are responsible for the "complex code". Is it possible to change just one block section at a time instead of editing the whole main page?
- The text on the main page is there through the use of templates. To change something in the news section you have to change the template used for that section. It can be found here: Template:News.Markrox91 14:26, March 2, 2010 (UTC)
What do you mean by "Remove old items and place them in the proper archive"? Wher is the archive? How do you get there?
Thanks for the welcome, this site is very helpful.
Thanks for the Greeting Edit
Thank-ya for the greeting--it's so nice to notice when someone makes a contribution, no matter how little. I'm somewhat new to writing wikis, but I shall try my best to give the Sword of Truth Wiki the justice that it deserves. I have all the books and am proud to say that they all have been thoroughly read. Nayru's Maiden 22:23, 22 March 2010 (UTC)
Episode infobox template is screwed up. Edit
Can you take a look at the episode infobox template? Some changes were made to the template recently and since then all the episode pics previously showing are missing and when you try to put a new pic in the template appears incorrectly.
Thanks for the greeting. I'd love to create an account, but every login I take already exists, while there are no user pages with such names. I'm puzzled... 220.127.116.11 09:25, July 15, 2010 (UTC) 09:24, July 15, 2010 (UTC)
Katherine - Mysterious Character Archive Edit
--Deathcrest 13:22, August 31, 2010 (UTC)
Hi, sorry to bother you again. It just seems that there is a page, called "Katherine" and as much as I have read the book series maybe two or three times, I do know that there is no character named Katherine. It seemed to be from a Fan-fiction, or a non-canon character, and it can be very misleading. I hope you take it down.
