Synopsis[]
When Darken Rahl won the unquestiongly loyalty of Carl he sacrificed him so he could once again travel the underworld. During the preparations for his journey to the underworld he remembered when he was burned by the same Wizard's fire that killed his father, Panis Rahl. The pain it had caused him and leaving him scarred for the rest of his life.
He eventually summoned Carl's soul in the form of a Shinga and travelled to the underworld.
